Welcome, Class of '57!
This page shows some of the "stuff" from our Florida 2016 get-together.
This get-together was held in Florida, at Joan's house, on Feb. 17, 2016
***********************************
On Wednesday, Feb. 17th, 2016, we had a small get-together - total of nine people, who gathered at Joan's house in Florida, and we all boarded the bus, at about 11:00 AM. There were photos taken of us, in front of the bus, before we left for Clearwater Beach. (Which was recently named the #1 (best) beach in the USA, recently.) We were fortunate to get very good weather - sunny and probably 69 degrees or higher. We were driven to "Carletta on the Gulf", which is a restaurant on the beach, that has a beautiful view of the beach and the Gulf of Mexico. We all had a great view out of our window, from our table, which they had set up in advance for us, perpendicular to the window. When we finished our lunch, we were all driven by our bus driver, to "Pier 60". We have some beautiful views of that area in our photos below. From the pier area, we all boarded our bus, and the driver drove us back to Joan's house, where we all had some desserts. I think/hope it was an enjoyable day for all of us - and it sure was great to get together with our classmates along with a few of their friends, again. |

Also, some "Spicettes" candies were inside each mug.

First thing, when Denny R. arrived at the door that morning,
he handed me a beautiful bell - and rang the bell,
as he has so often done.
The bell is clear glass, and shows a silver dove inside of it,
along with 2 silver rings -
Very pretty - and the ring has really a beautiful, soft ring.
Thank you Denny!
Joan
